Join us for our monthly ⬥ CREATORS COLLECTIVE ⬥ session - a space to surround yourself with other artists and like-minded creators and encourage collaboration and community amongst film/theatre creatives in Nashville. A place for feedback, education, or whatever areas of support you are looking for from your community.

Creators Collective
This month we are joined by local playwright, Sam Heyman, to hold a reading of his original play, Second Book Syndrome.
Sam (he/they) is a queer, Jewish playwright, author, and educator based in Nashville, TN. A proud member of the Dramatists Guild, Sam is active in his writing community, both locally as a playwriting instructor for The Porch Writers Collective and virtually as producer of the monthly Playwrights Thriving Reading Series. His plays have been developed with support from the Sewanee Writers Conference, Lambda Literary, the Valdez Theatre Conference, the Desert Playwrights Retreat, and the Midwest Dramatists Conference, among others. His full-length play, The Lover and the Fighter was recently named a semifinalist for the 2025 Del Shores Foundation Writers Search. During this month's session, we will be providing an open discussion space for anyone who may be participating in the 54 Hour Film Fest to brainstorm, exchange best practices and connect with other participants.
